For those who desire more privacy, our Pre-Civil War Log Cabins have been restored to their authentic early 1800's rustic charm. All of them are now comfortable rustic retreats for those who truly want a realistic experience and newfound appreciation of our ancestors. Each cabin is furnished with TV, air conditioning, telephone, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, linens, towels and your own personal embroidered Arcadia Manor robe to use while you stay with us. Luxurious bathing facilities are adjacent to the cabins

There are three of them, Aunt Beck's Cabin, Fain Boy's Cabin, and the Smoke House. Some historians speculate that Aunt Beck's Cabin is actually Samuel Broshear's original homestead cabin built in 1792 and subsequently moved to this site. To see these treasures is to feel the rural simplicity of life during a time in our history that stories of folklore abound.

AUNT BECK'S CABIN - Aunt Beck, beloved servant and companion. This cabin is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. It boasts a handcrafted stone fireplace and finished loft

FAIN BOY'S CABIN
- Two sons of Thomas Fain studied law in this cabin prior to taking and passing their bar exam. This cabin also has a beautifully handcrafted stone fireplace.

THE SMOKE HOUSE
- This was the heart of the plantation's preservation of their hams and bountiful dried goods that stocked their food supplies year after year. A charming sleeping loft and romantically cozy living room awaits.
